The role of the Architect evolved from the need to provide shelter and settings for the various rituals of life. We believe a bach is a chance to reflect on this and live differently than you do at home.

A collection of spaces around the central covered fireplace and courtyard reminiscent of a Kiwi campsite.

Despite various modifications in New Zealand Bach concept since it first appeared in 40s-50s, the main philosophy still remains the same: a simplicity in interior elements and a maximum fluidity between inside and outside spaces.
