J+K House
This project was developed as a contrasting extension to the existing iconic NZ 'state house'.
A simple straight form contains bedrooms floating above a lowered grotto and double garage with internal access.
The living areas are to be reconstructed to create an open plan with connections to the sunny spacious lawn.
Existing entry enclosed using an abstract looking structure communicating well with the new block and referring to contemporary Japanese architecture.
